1. Who we are
Peptyd is an iOS application that helps you track peptide protocols, log doses, and monitor cycles. References to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to the developer of Peptyd.
2. Data we collect
We collect no personal data. Specifically:
- We do not collect your name, email address, or any identifying information.
- We do not collect health or biometric data beyond what you enter locally in the app.
- We do not track your location.
- We do not use any third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs that send data off-device.
3. Data stored on your device
All data you enter into Peptyd — including peptide names, dose schedules, cycle configurations, and log history — is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's CoreData framework. This data never leaves your device except through Apple's own iCloud backup mechanism (see section 4).
4. iCloud backup
If you have iCloud backup enabled in your iOS Settings, your Peptyd data may be included in your device backup and stored in your personal iCloud account. This backup is:
- Controlled entirely by you through your Apple ID and iCloud settings.
- Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy, not ours.
- Never accessible to us as the developer.
You can disable iCloud backup for Peptyd at any time in Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Backups.
5. No third-party sharing
We do not share, sell, rent, or trade any of your data with third parties. We have no advertising partnerships, data brokers, or affiliate relationships that involve user data.
6. App Store and Apple
Peptyd is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect certain aggregated, anonymised data about app usage (such as download counts and crash reports) as part of their standard platform services. This data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and is not shared with us in personally identifiable form.
7. Children's privacy
Peptyd is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
